Tour the majestic hills of the little know Alta Langa region. Pass through small valley villages steeped in tradition, let your breath be taken away with views of the Italian Alps, take in the medieval castles and churches perched on hill crests, and pass through fields of grain swaying in the wind. Then taste the famous wines, truffles, cheeses, and hazelnuts that set this region apart from the rest of Piedmont and Italy.

Day 1 – Pick up from Starting point, either Turin or Milan, by your personal Guide. Stop for lunch and wine tasting in the Barolo region. Arrive in Saliceto and check into accommodation.
Day 2 – Begin walking tour heading uphill and through Gottasecca. Enjoy lunch and a cheese tasting with Cora Formaggi in Monesiglio. Continue on towards Prunetto, and check into our accommodation. Make sure you bring your appetite with you to the local agriturismo for dinner.
Day 3 – Visit Prunetto’s medieval castle and church and the breathtaking views of the Italian Alps. Tour the ancient forest, Bosco dei Faggi, then the trail takes hikers along hill crests and through gently rolling fields and forests. This segment finishes in the small medieval town of Bergolo with its stone homes and streets. Perched on a hill top this town has a commanding view of the surrounding valleys. Check into your cozy B&B and relax your feet before dinner.
Day 4 – The trail begins its descent back into the Bormida valley and Cortemilia. Stop for a quick tour of a grappa distillery and then lunch. Then back on the trail towards our accomodation in Castino.
Day 5 – Last evening is spent in Santo Stefano Belbo. Over a hot dish of risotto exchange your favourite moments with old and new friends.
Day 6 – The shuttle takes guests back to their Final location.
